This is really great if you hate using old fashioned wooden pencils. They last a very long time as the graphite is quite hard - harder than what you get in real pencils. That being said, erasing is a lot harder - even with a good eraser, you won't get as much doing it. Be careful, draw easier than with a traditional blue pen. Another note: they are much thicker than a regular mechanical pencil lead, so getting a thin tip or getting it through the holes in the template is a big problem. I got around this by keeping a sandpaper pen pointer next to my desk to "sharpen" it. Works pretty well, but I still use it with wood for my projects.
