I have at least a dozen of these and use them in my workshop to hold sewing machine feet, thread, beads and just about anything under the sun. I have one in the garage to hang all my pictures. The lower blue part is quite deep and even fits large pruning shears and scissors if you lay them on their side. The top clear portion is flat and perfect for beads, needles, safety pins, etc. What used to take up an entire bookshelf of boxes, jars and containers I can now store on two separate shelves. Also, it's so convenient to find things. Just make sure you keep such things in combination with other such things. Everyone has their own theme. They hold up well and if they fall over, nothing gets mixed up in the other compartments. In fact, I have them on my side for safekeeping. You can adjust the size of the compartments by exiting the dividers. I've been using them for at least 15 years now and they all work well. I will be buying more and more of these in the future!
