My 2015 Equinox 3.6L V6 was a real rocket. It burns all four four-wheel drive wheels. So much so that the green light almost wants to go sideways. Deliberately drifting around corners at big intersections is a real blast with such precise controls! Meanwhile, the response is almost instantaneous, so the SUV rocks forward when you step on the pedal. In Sport+ mode at +4 it also rolls when you lift the pedal. Accelerating from 0 to 80 at the entrance to the Autobahn is insane! It also revs the motor higher and longer when fully depressed. At the same time, I'm not quite sure how well the six-speed automatic handles the change in acceleration. I don't want it to be too rough on him or the gearing so I use it with some care. Installation on my 2015 Equinox LTZ AWD 3.6L was a hassle. I'm a big guy, and so far the power leather seats only recline. I was lying on my head with my head under the dashboard. I had to remove two plastic panels and the lower instrument panel on the driver's side. Setup took 2 1/2 hours due to limited space which made maneuvering difficult. But I also got the installation right. I installed the Select control module on the dash next to the steering column so it was in direct line of sight from my driver's seat. I securely fastened the control module holder in place on the dashboard with screws. I also carefully routed a long cable and secured it in its path. The Equinox accelerator connector was difficult to access, but I found the purple connector easy enough. I also secured all the cables in a few places so nothing would dangle or get caught in the pedals. Once installed, Pedal Commander sprang to life immediately. Originally I set "Sport to +2". This is probably where I'll keep it most of the time as I love the answer. I also had no problem switching between modes on the go. Recently used "City-2" for icy roads in the morning. I then toggled the Pedal Commander to "Off" as this worked best with the car's 4WD system on ice. It's a big plus that there's so much room for customization. I looked at the performance of the exhaust, intake and engine chips - ODB2; but now they look unnecessary. Overall I am very happy with the Pedal Commander. Even after installing the PC for a few weeks, I'm still playing with it. It's so much fun when the SUV pulls away (squirming and crawling sideways on all fours) when accelerating - always with safety in mind, of course!
