I blame myself for not getting it sooner. Minus 10 degrees and my truck starts like a sunny 80 degree day. I will never be without again. One thing I did do was buy 36" zip ties to wrap around the battery cover to hold it in place instead of using the included zip tie. This prolongs battery life and makes engine starting easier, eliminates the need for an engine heater, makes installation much easier, and doesn't worry about leaks. It keeps the battery about 60 degrees above ambient temperature. I didn't even have to unscrew the clamp or wires on my 2000 Ford Ranger.
