Pure sine wave inverters like this are the only ones that will work with an induction hob. This 2000-watt machine will also power my washing machine, 2-slice toaster, 1800-watt microwave, and 10-cup coffee maker, but only one at a time. I don't like that the fans turn on for 10 seconds every minute. Maybe it's just me, but it also happens when nothing is connected. It's also very annoying when it drops below 10.5 volts, an alarm goes off and the red light starts flashing. And even after the load is disconnected and the voltage rises again, the alarm is still on, the red light is still flashing until you turn it off and on again to reset it. How painful! x^(
