I bought these ignition coils to fix the misfire code P0300. Also, I had ten days to get through the smog. Turns out I had a bad spark plug. Left those coils on and the first run was nice and fast. I drove the car for about two days, after 150 miles there were no more misfires. Finally the big day has come. As I walk into the store, the Check Engine lights up and the car starts to jerk and stall. Get code P0306. So my registration has expired. I have to drive with expired tags to clear all codes. I replaced the "new coil" with an old original coil with 300,000 miles on it. And so far so good. When the smog clears up tomorrow, I'll take these coils out, send them back, and spend an extra $100 to get a new Delphi. I don't want to deal with random misfires at the wrong time. Although my old coils had 300,000 miles when they went south because it took me so long to rebuild/upgrade this motor. You screwed up just sitting there. Who knows, maybe even some from the junkyard are better than these.
