Have been using it for over three years. Destroys thread algae within a few days. In the spring I dose the water heavily into the pond and then during the year just go to the shore. Now I also use a strong UV filter and a pretty good pond filter, but nothing special. I dose it about 10 times more than recommended, adding about a liter or so at first. 1200 gallons but too many fish (koi/sibunkin mix). This year you can try adding activated charcoal to remove some of the brown, but for the most part the pond looks pretty clean. The fish are very active and growing well. plants too. I've read other reviews, especially those that don't claim to be successful. I recommend you throw away the measuring cups and hit hard in the pond every spring.
