I was a bit skeptical but given the reasonable price, some legitimate positive reviews (some obviously not), and the fact that it looks good, I decided to give it a try. It works! I've struggled with dust and static electricity on records in the past, as well as filaments of dust sticking to the stylus; My system and records needed constant cleaning and the stylus was free of any obvious dust or fibers. While I always quickly clean the record with a classic brush and spray on the cleaner, I now end up with a vigorous sweeping/dusting with the brush and the needle comes out clean after a full play much more often than before. I've sometimes found myself skipping the classic brush and just using this brush (when I know things won't linger in the air). And, yes, straight out of the box he lost a little weight, but quite a bit and didn't continue; In addition, you don't have to worry about accidentally molting with a powerful pull. Happy.
