This block cuts dust with its scissor action. This tool is much easier to use to make custom cutouts in cement trim around windows/doors than any previous saw or blade solution I've tried. One battery charge is enough for hundreds of cuts, even long window and door openings. Without the cable, I was able to cut cement siding panels on the scaffolding, as opposed to the process required when using a saw.
