I find the straps very comfortable even with a lot of weight. Since other people have mentioned the issue with the comfort of the straps, I'll say that I'm an average build woman with bony/slim shoulders. Maybe I have muscles in my shoulders that keep them from bothering me? I usually have problems with the straps so I find this surprising, especially with all the reviews mentioning that the straps hurt or slip off. I feel like I have medium shoulders and no chest to talk about - maybe it repels other people's chests? I don't have much haha so maybe that's why they don't slip off me. My issue with this bag is that the faux leather becomes crumpled and flimsy/flexible very soon after about 2 months of use as a wallet. . I paid almost $50 for it so I think it should last longer. It's not durable at all by itself, but I put enough into it to make it look good.
