Wired and Wireless Firmware Setup

Great hardware, just what I've come to expect from Belkin products. Just a note on pass-through power and wired networks. I'm running Linux on a new Dell XPS laptop with two USB-C ports and no other ports. This makes the laptop remarkably thin but requires such a device for USB, wired networks, external video, etc. I had trouble making a wired network connection to the device even with WiFi disabled in the OS when I found the setting in System. Firmware (on a laptop) to automatically turn off wireless when a wired connection is detected. The wired connection worked great after that and as this is a firmware setting some may have the same issue on a Windows PC. When transferring large files between devices on my home network, the wired option is 4-5x faster than even a solid 5GHz WiFi connection on the same laptop. tell me that I have used an underperforming device and the system may not be able to reach maximum performance (words in that sense). I didn't notice any drop in performance and the battery charges very well. All connections on the device work properly and there are no drivers to install. Highly recommended.
