So to be honest I only bought this i9 because I wanted an Asus ROG Maximus XII Formula motherboard! I really didn't want an i9 because I bought a Ryzen 9 3950x, but after using this CPU, motherboard and GPU along with my Samsung G7 monitor, my games are amazing. I did an overclocking test and was very impressed. I love the i9 now but I've never been a fan. I recommend it, the chip is great!
