THIS CPU IS NOT SUPPRESSED "K "

Over 3 months in a new build of EVGA gaming/general purpose PC the 10900 performance has exceeded all expectations with a BIOS setup (no real overclocking). Can achieve 10-core performance at over 5200MHz and peak power over 130+W and more at max 71°C with liquid cooling anytime on demand (however 32/4400 RAM limits the frequency to less than 2157MHz). [Compromise setting - max 4713MHz CPU with 3140MHz RAM].

Small body, big performance

This 10th Gen Intel kit includes a fan, so the system is very easy to assemble. My whole system was working 35 minutes after starting. I've added a 2TB SSD and 32GB RAM so the power on to shutdown performance is fantastic. With a good high-speed internet connection, everything goes faster and switching is instantaneous. I spend very little time waiting for something to load, and I also respond significantly faster to all applications, including gaming applications. Despite this, most of the…

I didn't like Intel but now I like

So to be honest I only bought this i9 because I wanted an Asus ROG Maximus XII Formula motherboard! I really didn't want an i9 because I bought a Ryzen 9 3950x, but after using this CPU, motherboard and GPU along with my Samsung G7 monitor, my games are amazing. I did an overclocking test and was very impressed. I love the i9 now but I've never been a fan. I recommend it, the chip is great! I'm streaming on Revain Live here at Revain.com/shop/Atarabyte, I enjoy building/repairing PCs, playing…

Wanted to build a powerful mini pc to run Abaqus CAE and I paired this CPU with Asrock Deskmini H470W because it is the most powerful CPU that can support this base system. H470W runs at 120W. The adapter and this I9-10900 (TDP 65W) work fine. This little beast has raw processing power that cuts Abaqus' average analysis time by 50% compared to my other I5 1035G7 sport laptops. Despite its performance, this is still a processor with a TDP of 65W, and the heat development is very manageable for a

Nice price, good quality.

What's wrong with the cooler: 1. a circular cooler plate adjacent to a square processor (the corners of the processor are cooled worse) 2. at maximum speed does not cope with cooling 3. at maximum speed it is quite noisy (On the motherboard, the power supply is 20 + 8 + 4 pins, all the pins are powered, so it seems that the processor power is adequate, and it should not overheat due to a lack of power. However, I'm not an expert, I'm not sure - there are motherboards with 20 + 8 + 8 , maybe…

Pros
  • There are no complaints about the processor itself (5 points, perhaps so far), I haven’t overclocked it and I’m not going to
Cons
  • All claims to the cooler. I took the BOX bundle (with a factory cooler), the cooler is rubbish (-1 point for it) In the game escape from tarkov with a factory cooler, the processor heated up to 75-85 degrees on average, with a maximum of 100 degrees. Looked in Open Hardware Monitor. As a result, I got scared and bought a PCcooler GI-H58UB CORONA R cooler (not an advertisement, because it also has flaws, but in general the cooler is quiet and powerful) + Arctix MX-4 thermal paste. Under the same conditions, the maximum temperature of the cores is 65-71 degrees, the average is about 60-65, much better.
