We use these in place of paper towels in the commercial kitchen, we use the Kimberly-Clark Professional In-site 09996 dispenser and the paper towels in the commercial kitchen. Works very well, cuts them about 12 inches, they are sturdy and fairly absorbent, although not as absorbent as household paper towels. Very happy with the savings with them. We have a septic system so they are not used in our customers' bathrooms. they are too complex to be used in such circumstances. Some customers always seem to drop something, and that's not intentional. We use a thinner and lighter towel in the bathrooms as we have a sewage system. If you use the city sewage system, you may not have a problem. Feel free to save with it. For thin towels I recommend the Kimberly-Clark 09992 battery operated automatic dispenser. They even come with the first set of batteries and we are still using that original set after 15 months. You see that thin towels don't work well with wet hands, the towels get wet and fall off before the customer can retrieve the towel with the 09996 dispenser on site. If you're using a thicker towel like this, it's not a problem and no batteries are needed.
