Review on Dorman 742 560 Window Chevrolet Pontiac by Brian Weese
Mounting holes not drilled!
Engine fitted but mounting bolts would not start. The screws were 1/4 x 20 so I tried metric but no joy. Took the motor off and inspected the mounting holes and lo and behold they were never cut. Unscrew them, put the motor in place and everything worked. This was the rear of the driver and, unlike the front engine, which was also made by Dorman, had no mounting bolts. Probably made in China without US supervision (Dorman). I'm telling you, this is a Chinese conspiracy behind the American suicide bombers. They want us dead. ;)
