Came with the wrong foam padding which I believe fits over the round part of the clamp to avoid damaging the underside of the table. Bought for my standalone desk and it fits (0.8125 inch thick). I swear the description said something about a surge protector when I bought it, but I'm not sure and the current description doesn't say that anymore. It works as advertised, but I probably wouldn't buy it again, but if you're price sensitive, go for it.
