Review on Ultimate 7-in-1 Pro Leathercraft Set: Adjustable Stitching Groover and Creasing Edge Beveler for Seamlessly Sewing & Creasing Leather by Sasha Hsiao

I used a 7-in-1 crease, edger and crease on about 30 small leather items. Overall this is a great tool to start with leather or to do simple projects but after 30 small projects I have a lot to say. Firstly, Groover, after 30 projects it's clearly not as sharp as it used to be - understandably something that needs replacing like a regular razor blade, but I don't see any replacement other than buying a new tool. I still use this but have noticed that it doesn't leave a cleanly cut groove, but I can live with that because the stitching hides it. they became dull and stuck to the skin. Another issue I had was that the tool comes with 3 different sized bevel cutters; 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm, when I got them they weren't marked and I honestly can't tell them apart by looking at them or even using them. On the first 2 projects the bevel cutters worked fine but after the 10th project I gave up and bought 4 special bevel cutters in 4 different sizes that work much better. In my opinion, chamfers are good for multiple projects, but after that you'll find that performance drops. Third, Creaser, I haven't found much use for it other than when I need to make a crease, and it works about the same as using a ninepenny nail and a ruler. After using this in one of my projects, putting this bit in the tool became tedious and I didn't use it as the nail would give me the same result and with less hassle would replace the bits, which brings me to my next point , replace bits. Changing the bits is a bit of a hassle. First, the screw that holds the bits in place is very small and can easily be lost if you're not careful, and there's no replacement included with the tool. Secondly, this isn't really a complaint, just an observation that the beveler fits so snugly that I didn't need a screw and it wasn't easy to put on and take off. Overall I gave this a 4 because it's a tool that works similar to a starter kit. It helped me get the projects I wanted, but as my interest developed, the 7-in-1 tool began to lack power and efficiency. I think if the company had included extra screws for attaching bits and labeled the edger dimensions it would have been a 5 star product.
