I was looking forward to this mouse with the new scroll wheel. I used the original MX Anywhere for years and it eventually started developing Double-Click. I figured I'd switch to the latest iteration and be happy. I thought wrong. The only good thing about this mouse was the scroll wheel. Otherwise nothing of note, and what's worse, it's actually not as good as the previous one once you remove the scroll wheel. Up until the MX Anywhere 2S the overall shape stayed the same, it was a small mouse but in terms of one hand. This time, however, they have changed their form. The left side of the mouse, where there was a slight bump compared to the right side, was ideal for placing the thumb in a very natural position. Now the left and right sides are exactly the same. They also reduced the width of the lateral concave area where the fingers rest. It's amazing what a difference, what a difference. Now the hold gesture feels like you have to force your finger towards the mouse, which mostly resulted in pain/discomfort for about half an hour of use. I had to go back to my old mouse. Logitech, please, for God's sake, stop changing designs that aren't broken, update them, update them, but if it works, don't mess with it. The same goes for the G9x mouse which I have owned for over 7 years. Every new Logitech gaming mouse I've tried feels unnatural and uncomfortable compared to the G9x. Just return the same shape and I'll buy it!
