I've recently expanded my local wine collection by joining two major wine clubs (both organic and/or biodynamic) and buying the right tools to make good wine (without going crazy over the cost) or take a wine snobbery fetish class!). A decent bottle rack, a manual bottle opener, a vacuum pump to seal a half-finished bottle, a sulphite filter and now as the last bit a fancy carafe. I wanted a nice design with a holder to dry off after washing (I've seen too many beautiful glass carafes cracked on the dish rack). Model YouYah Iceberg won the contest! For beauty, functionality and reasonable costs. It meets all the criteria. The wine looks elegant, cascading down the neck and sides of the carafe and billowing at the flared base. I can pour as much as I need for dinner and leave the rest in a vacuum flask. I compared this model to the YouYah Wine Breather Carafe (they are similar) with the same sized spout making it easy to pour wine back into the bottle, but chose the Iceberg model for its elegance and curved spout . , and an aerator. I am very happy with the choice.
