Just the way it should be. It's well made, all the rubber is tight, nothing leaks, it pours great and the mesh is great for catching tiny bits of cork when it brakes midway and you have to poke a hole to pour the wine but it's worth it yourself because it's a bottle you've aged 15 years in and by God you're going to drink it! So it's worth the money.

We wanted it to work but it didn't work. We bought this and another carafe. On three separate occasions we divided a bottle of wine evenly between three glasses (one for each carafe, one undecanted) and conducted a blind tasting test. Each time it was the second or the last. While the aerator looked good when poured, it didn't affect the taste of the wine in any way. It has been returned.

I bought this out of fear of what I describe as my wine snob. He has been enthusiastic about it since the first application and still sticks to the traditional methods. We love watching the waterfall effect and time-saving ventilation from 10 to 30 minutes! We've used this on wines we've tasted before and they were very dense, this aerator makes them taste completely different. I'm not a wine snob lol I just love drinking it!

This carafe was a gift for my wife or a replacement. I accidentally broke her previous one while cleaning her. She loves this one more because of the scent it gives. I love it because it's easier to clean and dry afterwards. Small steel balls make cleaning the top of the decanter easy, quick and convenient. I would definitely recommend this product and buy it again if needed.

This decanter is the best! We have a carafe with a large bottom and it takes two hands to pour and is difficult to clean and dry. The YouYah carafe looks great once you pour wine in it! The inverted flower inside the decanter distributes the wine and aerates it to the bottom. We tasted the wine by pouring it straight from the wine bottle into a glass to taste. I've recently expanded my local wine collection by joining two major wine clubs (both organic and/or biodynamic) and buying the right tools to make good wine (without going crazy over the cost) or take a wine snobbery fetish class!). I am grateful that my crystal decanter broke because it is an excellent product. I used it to decant half a bottle of Zinfandel in 15 minutes and it tasted like it had been opened for 3 hours! The optical presentation of the wine in the decanter is impressive. My visiting family enjoyed watching a new bottle being poured, similar to drinking wine. Cleaning was straightforward and so far has found no need for the included cleaning balls. I will buy one as a gift for my family

I really have nothing to fault or say negative. The decanter set is just amazing! It has now become a staple in our fridge, along with milk and orange juice. A corked bottle used to be left in the fridge, but now with YouYah's decanter, not only does wine last longer, it's also easier to handle.
