We bought these for diving so we can take our GoPros with us. They are lightweight, highly visible and easy to use. The pen has a dry compartment to store extra SD cards, money or keys; As long as you clean the seal of sand or dirt, it is airtight. The only downside to the design is the short leash - too short to comfortably wrap around your wrist if you need to let go/hang. I would suggest a longer line or carabiner to attach to your gear underwater.
