I was really upset when I had to replace my old hair dryer because they don't seem to make hair dryers that are both foldable and retractable cord to have. So I made compromises. It's a lot quieter than my previous dryer but seems to dry faster. It has default settings (Hot, Medium, Cold and High, Low) so that's a plus. I really hate that the handle doesn't fold down for storage so I don't really use it because I have to lug it behind my back to the downstairs bathroom closet where I can dry my hair without waking my partner . I get up at 3am after running but before work. It works great for what it is though, if you have somewhere to leave it or don't mind making the bathroom look like trash with visible appliances that would be nice.
