Review on πŸ“Š Enhanced Accuracy and High Resolution of Mitutoyo 530 in 316 Stainless Steel by Miro Dadee

The secret ingredient is love.

I'm an idiot and I value mechanical precision, so you don't have to worry about what a $60 ruler essentially is like I do. However, when you hold it in your hands, you can tell immediately that someone has put a lot of thought and care into this design. This is solid rock. Doesn't rattle, doesn't wobble, doesn't give in. Do I really need to know how many 20 millimeters the thickness is? Very, very, very rare. Am I glad this thing exists that can give me consistent and accurate readings without needing a battery? Absolutely. My only complaint is that the model I bought didn't have a fine adjustment dial, but it was my fault for not choosing one that did. Yes, Chinese digital calipers that you can buy for half that price are sleek and easy to use. Now remove the battery from it and try to measure something with it. What you say? Is it difficult to read? Want something analog that can be read out quickly and easily without batteries? You are in the right place. TL; DR: If you're reading this review, you're probably buying a caliper. If accurate measurements are important to you to buy a vernier caliper, you should buy this one.
