When these first arrived and I unfolded them the image stuck to itself. I thought it might stick to other things when washed (bad previous experience) but I turned it inside out and washed in cold water and when it came out the image was no longer sticky. However, rust-colored stains remained on the painting, which have not come off with washing (see photo). Don't waste time and resources on returns. Otherwise the fabric is quite thick (not too thin) and the pants don't fall over my very skinny son, so that's enough for me. We also ordered the one with an astronaut falling from the moon (or something like that) and that one was in Order.
