Review on Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover by Tina Moore

I was so happy to use this product because I saw it on two 'best stain remover' lists online and lots of positive reviews here. This thing didn't work at all. I followed the directions on the bottle exactly and when the spots started looking worse I waited about 12 hours and tried again. The second time I sprayed a huge amount onto each stain (just in case the cleaner was really diluted or something) and worked the stain with my fingers, then brushed with a new brush. It did absolutely nothing. By then I was pretty sure it was just water in a spray bottle. I poured some into a cup and sniffed, but there was no smell. I sniffed the carpet and the brush I used to clean and neither of them had any odor. I know it's supposed to be unscented, but even unscented cleaning products have a faint smell. I even sprayed some on my hand and tasted it (which sounds crazy to me but it annoyed me) and it didn't taste good. So yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just water. Don't count on it and don't waste your money on it.
