Extremely Tight Elastic
This hood looks and feels beautiful, apart from the extremely, extremely tight elastic! It's so tight I can't even use it for a deep conditioning cap let alone sleep in it. I have naturally curly hair and wore it to sleep to protect my curls and I couldn't take more than a few minutes. Maybe just applying it to your hair and not touching your forehead or scalp at all will work? And I even have a small head lol. The strap is really nice, I want to adjust the tension somehow.
