Work but belts need tightening
I have a chuck on my lathe that is difficult to remove after turning. It is approximately 3 inches in rounded diameter. These grippers have two types of gripping surfaces. I've used both and found that they both slip. You must maintain actual tension on the straps or they will slip. I got them working but tightening the straps is a must.
