Great! For my 2008 5.3 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab

I've only used it for about a week and I'm still impressed. There's a noticeable improvement in performance, but also smoother delivery. Installation was very user-friendly and requires the turn of a wrench for beginners. Advantages: More power, more even air supply to the engine. Great, unique sound. Easy installation. quality details. Cons: Not a perfect fit, but still basic. The resonance can be loud or humming at certain higher-rpm slower speeds, but it's still not a bug. The resonant sound that others have complained about really depends on several factors. 1) And, perhaps most importantly, how hard are you on the gas? I mean are you going flat out, 3/4, 1/2 or less? Not so much the actual speed as the amount of throttle you give. Your throttle position tells the ECU how much air it needs to draw in. Relaxed/cruising driving doesn't affect the sound for me. Where, like when I push the pedal all the way down, it springs to life with a vicious roar as it hurtles through the gears for honor and glory! Okay, maybe not great, but it looks like it. However, when I'm somewhere in the middle, I notice that the audio can hum a little. And if it was a permanent noise I wouldn't give it 5 stars and would already have returned it. I highly recommend it to everyone! It has been proven time and time again that the stock airbox on Chevy Silverados performs as well, or in most cases better, colder than Cold Air Intakes (CAIs). This is a great product.
