Quality product but they don't bite as much as my original brakes

Most importantly these discs and pads feel very strong and of good quality. We installed them on my friend's truck and I was so impressed with the overall experience that I bought the kit for my 2003 BMW 3 Series E46. They installed without any problems and I followed the somewhat unusual break-in procedure very carefully. While they're quiet, smooth, and have good pedal feel, they don't bite as hard or stop the car as quickly as my factory brakes. For most riders, the difference may not be noticeable (and better than their OEM brakes). But for a BMW sports sedan with exceptional braking performance, I was a bit overwhelmed. On the other hand, two axles with factory brakes are $1,100. This set was $325 and I did the install. So I'm willing to compromise for an additional $775.

Pros
  • Brake kits
Cons
  • Some minor things
