Review on Plugable Active DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter - Seamlessly Connect DisplayPort-Enabled πŸ”Œ Devices to HDMI Displays for Crystal-Clear Ultra-HD Video Streaming (4K 60Hz Support) by Rick Rogers

Can't receive 4k 60hz via Displayport on TV? Most likely this is not your graphics card.

I had an Amazon Basics Displayport to HDMI cable which was fine for 1080p but when I used a 4k TV as a big monitor I was surprised that it was 4k ( 1080p) not supported was written in the description for this cable, but I bought it a long time ago). After checking all the settings and trying different connection combinations, I realized I needed a new cable. Was encouraged to read the reviews for this one. My home office computer is nothing fancy, just a little thing with a couple of display ports and Intel 560 graphics, but with this adapter I have a huge beautiful 55 inch 4k TV that works fine as a computer monitor at 60Hz. If you have a receiver or preamp/processor between your computer and TV, you should make sure it supports HDMI 2.0, or consider connecting HDMI directly to your TV and using the TV's optical audio output with your audio system. Good product. They'll sell a million of these before Displayports become commonplace on 4K TVs.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Not the best
