Review on Nikon Z5 Camera Kit with 24-50mm f/4-6.3 Lens, Black by Janis Riekstins ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

The first FF camera in my hands for quite a long time of photography. Before her sat on Canon. He sat so tight . crop DSLR, optics park, puff, G16 as a spare camera. As a result, over time, the DSLR, along with the lenses, became dusty, and the G16 was enough for all the trips . Until the second wave of craving for artistic photography swept over. And away we go) First I started looking at used pennies with low mileage, then at the Canon RP, and in the end, in the hands of the Nikon Z5, and only the G16 remained from the Canon collection (which, by the way, I am very very pleased with to this day). The transition to Nikon was very easy in terms of ergonomics, although at one time he foamed at the mouth and argued that Canon's ergonomics were the most ergonomic of ergonomics. As for the quality of the images, I can only say that I am satisfied with everything. To be honest, I didn’t use Fuji, which everyone praises for the insanely cool camera jeep. But for me personally, the best result is when the camera produces the most realistic picture, which you can then tweak in the editor as you need. Here it is. Noises after crop - delight! I did not know that you can shoot at ISO 2022))) DD is fine too. But it's like FF. Carefully! More shock content! The 24-50 whale lens turned out to be in perfect order! Yes, it's dark, but what a compact, sharp all over the field and with excellent microcontrast. With sufficient light, the picture from it only pleases. For the premises I bought the SB-700 on ebay - it saves. So far I am saving up for new glasses, but I don’t plan anything to replace him in this range of focal lengths.

Pros
  • Ergonomics Nikon. Compactness. Modern features: + Wireless photo transfer to smartphone and laptop + Remote control + Touch screen + 2 slots for normal cards + The ability to charge the camera via type-c is a very cool option! I checked it out when I came to visit with a discharged camera. If you do not have the habit of putting all your devices on charge at night, then this is something that can help out a lot.
Cons
  • In two months of use, I can note only a couple of points: 1) RAW files are not taken directly by Photoshop, you need to install Adobe Camera raw. After CR2 is weird 2) The external flash SB-700 does not have a focus point illumination . As far as I understand, the reason is just the same in the camera (mirrorless system) 3) Once, for unknown reasons, it hung with a strange squeak when exiting sleep mode. Turning it off helped. What it was - I did not understand, but it happened the next day after the firmware ate. It didn't happen again.
