I really like this cleaning stick. Its 26" length is perfect for my 24" 60 gallon tank. The crosshatched aluminum rod on the handle and the fine thread for attaching the extension rod are very well done and give the low-end aquarium scraper a highly precise feel. The razor scraper is very sharp and quickly deals with algae on the glass. A funny note about the scraper. An Allen key is included to replace the blades, but the screws are Phillips head. No big deal, I just thought it was funny. My complaint about this item is actually its best feature; jet brush. The brush is great for cleaning white sand or seaweed off rocks. It works like a little dust broom in the tank. The problem is that while the brush was not stressed, the part that the rod screws into broke after only a few uses. As soon as I put it on I noticed that the threads weren't threaded correctly. Try as I might, the rod would always thread onto the brush at the wrong angle, causing it to fail prematurely. EDIT: The seller refunded me the full amount of my purchase so I am more than satisfied. I was able to mend a small brush satisfactorily. Bye. If it breaks again I'll probably buy the same tool again. EDIT 7/28/20: Well after supergluing the little brush for the third time I decided it was time to go ahead and buy another one. The load on the joint is too great for the superglue. This is a tool I use on a daily basis and I don't see anything that could work more effectively in removing diatoms from rocks and glass until they eventually complete their life cycle. Since the seller has been more than honest with me, I think it's only fair to buy another.
