Great device! (I found a solution to a small problem I originally had)

Update 2: Continues to work as stated in the update below. However, a few times I get a "connection error" message that I can't fix. When I unplug the device from the USB and plug it back in, it boots up and reconnects normally. So back to 4 stars. Update: I tried something else and it worked: instead of removing the phone from the native Volvo system, I removed ("forgot") the device (car) connection to the phone. After that, when I turn on the car, the phone no longer connects to the native car system and automatically connects to the wireless system. Great!============ I just hooked it up to a 2018 Volvo XC60. It worked right out of the box. I ran the firmware update anyway by scanning the QR code in the manual. Updated quickly and without problems. After the update it continued to work. Every time I turn on the car I get a message that the phone is already connected to the car (this is my phone connected to Volvo's own system via bluetooth) and when I want to connect CarPlay it will disconnected this other connection. As soon as I press "OK to disconnect" it goes into CarPlay and works without any problems. However, I wanted to see if I could avoid this prompt every time I turned the car on, so I went and disconnected the Bluetooth phone from its own connection to the Volvo system. After that, the phone would no longer connect wirelessly to CarPlay, it showed "connection error" and I couldn't fix it. So I reconnected the phone to the native Volvo system via Bluetooth. This time the wireless CarPlay worked as before (which alerted me that the phone was already connected and that it was CarPlay). Repeat this note each time. Or is there another way to connect CarPlay automatically without prompt? We are grateful for any help. If possible then this is a great product.
