These discs work well but unfortunately although the capacity is 25GB you can't really achieve that. I've tried (and wasted) a few entries around 23-25GB in size, and they all failed. I thought I had one or more bad disks. then I noticed that the actual capacity of the new and empty disk in explorer is 23.3GB. So I reduced my data to 21GB and everything worked fine. After a few more entries I came to the conclusion that everything 22.5G and above DOES NOT WORK, everything below works fine. It's a magic number and it doesn't change for me. So far no crashes when storing 22.4GB or less of data. At 22.5G and higher I get repeated crashes. I haven't researched why this is because there is only one small file on each new drive which is very small so I'm not sure why I can't get the full advertised 25GB but that's mine Experience. I have a LG BE14NU40 burner. This increases the overall cost of keeping my data HIGHER as I waste 2.5GB of storage at a time. The rest of the discs work great. These inkjet discs are best when you want to apply labels. Obviously writing on a regular disc can eventually wash out the ink on the reflective surface and ruin the disc. I use them for long-term archives. I have two hard drives for instant backup and I copy them to MDisc from time to time and keep them off the office as an emergency backup in case two hard drives fail or an unimaginable fire occurs. This is for things I definitely don't want to lose, e.g. B. Videos of kids, photos, etc. If the technology changes, I can always jump there. At the moment this is the best solution for my purposes. They work great. And the longest memory currently available. If that doesn't help you at first, try saving the recording to 22.5GB! My reviews are my opinion of the product received and my opinion only. All people are different and can have different opinions about a product. I am not paid for my reviews and always do them honestly. So you don't have to worry if my review is real because it is.
