Review on 🌡️ FJC Inc. 6025 Quick Coupler Manifold Gauge Set Conversion Kit: Optimize Refrigeration System Performance by Matthew Bahri

I bought these to replace the quick couplers that came with my A/C gauge kit. The ones that came with gauges had screwed handles to open the Schrader valves, and one of them was leaking. I got a replacement but it didn't even fit the valve. Luckily I ordered them as a backup. At first I thought they were faulty because the locking ring stays in place until you snap it onto the Schrader valve body. The retaining ring snaps into place immediately! They snap on very easily, don't leak and are easy to remove and you don't have to fiddle with any handles. I used them to vacuum my system and then add new R134 refrigerant. After vacuuming the system I let it sit for 30 minutes to make sure the system wasn't leaking. The vacuum didn't change, so there were no leaks. That said, not only did the system hold pressure, but those fittings didn't leak. Not even a little bit. I highly recommend these quick connectors and would happily buy them again. The price is very reasonable for this quality of hardware. Also, the included adapter fitting was just what I needed as my gauge hoses only fit 1/4" flare fittings and the fitting on my refrigerant tank was 1" male. /2" ACME. So this adapter just screws in and seals with an o-ring on the inside, and then my yellow hose on my gauge set goes straight into the 1/4" male thread on the adapter. A word of caution guys, all of these fittings are hand tightened only! Do not use pliers or anything similar to tighten these fittings, you will overtighten and damage the rubber o-ring inside and they will leak. Just hand tighten them and they will work as intended.
