Perfect! Got them for the top and bottom of our stairs so I went from banister to banister. If you look at the photos there was a flat spot at the bottom so the included gate hardware worked, but at the top the flat round hardware just didn't work. These gate adapters were extremely easy to install and worked great. The gate is much stronger.
