The rotating ball has adjustable tension, but even in the strongest position it can't keep my Oneplus 5 (a relatively small phone today) from tipping over. The magnetic pad has a silicone insert (see photo) to keep your phone from sliding, spinning or falling. While the magnetic pads will flex out of the box and come in contact with the silicone, once applied to the phone the silicone cannot come into contact with it as it will not flex then. Did they make the silicone pads cheaper and thinner? Or is it a terrible untested design flaw? Who knows? He comes back. Nice try, poor execution renders it useless.
