Review on Senior Yorkshire Terrier Dry Dog Food By Royal Canin For Dogs Over 8 Years Old by Jaya Walsh

Where's the Meat? in my review

I'm not thrilled with the ingredients in this dry dog food. Aging Yorkies require meat too. Maybe the lack of meat is suppose to help maintain kidney health, I don't know. The first five ingredients are brown rice, brewer's rice, wheat gluten, chicken fat, corn gluten meal then chicken by product meal (feet, guts, etc.) That doesn't look like something I want to feed my dog. And a 10 pound bag of this stuff costs $46.00. I would rather take that money and buy ingredients at the grocery store and make my own much more healthful dog food. I'm giving it 3 stars and I think I'm being generous.
