Don't waste your money. I bought these because I DID NOT want to drill screw holes in my new kitchen cabinets. I prepped the inside of the cabinet doors by thoroughly cleaning them with alcohol according to the directions. Note that instead of relying on a small prep pad, I used rubbing alcohol (90%) and clean paper towels. I then let it dry for a couple of hours and set up three posts, pressing each one very hard. Then I left her alone for 2 days. Then I added the spice jars. (Note that they don't go well with straight top hats; they need small "necks" like the McCormick condiments I've had a few. You can't put two plain top hats side by side.) The next morning, 2 out of 3 strips broke but luckily stayed in my closet. A third fell later that day. I used small screws to attach them and they stayed up. but spice jars are not. They slip out over time (several days), even those with a neck. The plastic just won't hold it. You (or I) need metal with a firmer grip. On the other hand, they can be too tight. Either way - BIG WASTE OF MONEY
