Works, but the plastic on the funnel and extension is as thin as a plastic straw. When I removed the shipping plastic wrap and screwed the flexible spout onto the funnel, it was already flexing under my hand pressure. I was afraid that I had already broken it. So I used it to fill 10 gallons of gas from two different types of gas cans and had no problems. I had no intention of leaning the gas canisters against the funnel or she would be crushed to death. It has a nice rim or rim on top of the funnel. After I removed the gas canisters from the top of the funnel, it flipped upside down and the rim caught any chance of spilling gas on the ground. I give this design a plus. But in the end I see that this funnel holds up after a few uses before it breaks and I have to find another one.
