The clamp will not work with the wet drill bench so I added a washer and used a 1/2" T nut. Secure clamp when descending at altitude. You can see the camper but the grip is reliable. I've had more conversions to the 9" version, the TPI is weird. The standard is 13 for this 1/2" screw. This is an inexpensive solution that works under load. Other clamping options are more expensive or dangerous. Confidence in the clamp is paramount.
