Amazing! Works as advertised! Given that this is the ONLY GPS tracker on Revain (pet or not) that promises 30-day battery life and low-cost service over 5G IoT, I was skeptical. After a week of use, I'm amazed it works as promised! Some observations: - Requires 5G network. You need to find a coverage map for your area. Customer service reported that the carrier in the Los Angeles area is ATT. When I was in the country with a 4G LTE signal but no 5G coverage, it didn't work other than broadcasting its position within 20 feet to my phone via Bluetooth. - Battery life: 75% remaining charge is reported after 1 week, so the promised 30-day life is plausible. -Setting: Easy. It took 10 minutes to install the Android app and enter the settings. After 20 minutes it was connected to the 5G network and working. -GPS performance: When I ping the device to update the location, it takes 5-10 seconds. In a two-story house with a tiled roof, there are no problems with signal reception from below. - Customer service: I used the chat function in the app and my question was answered immediately. - Size and build quality: both appear to be good. My 7 pound pup doesn't seem to bother wearing it on a collar. - The first walking position correction may be off by half a block, but the second ping always corrects it within about 20 feet. - Plan price (6/2020): $2.99/month for three years, $3.99/month for two years, $4.99/month for one year, $6.99 per month per month at once. You don't really know where your dog is until you click to update the position, or it will update periodically as you move. - The device search function via a Bluetooth direct connection from your phone only reaches 20 feet. This would be useful for locating the device if it's lost around the house or dropped somewhere, but not for locating your dog.
