Review on πŸš— Mophorn High Flow Catalytic Converter Direct Fit Front Exhaust Manifold | Compatible with Subaru Impreza, Legacy, Forester, Outback, 2006-2012 | 2.5L 4 Cyl (Non-Turbo) | Includes Gasket Kit by Aaron Webb

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good, but does it go on? I doubt it.

Like the others mentioned, this bolt fits reasonably well (though not perfectly), comes with cheap hardware (ie bolts are cheap, nuts are even cheaper), but will solve the O2 sensor code. I can already tell you that there is false advertising on the product page. The catalyst is NOT a metal substrate - it is ceramic. It also has some pretty thick welds in the intake ports, which can restrict exhaust flow a bit (though that's no big deal). You can grind them if you want, but it's probably not worth it. My latest Revain exhaust manifold blew the catalytic converter after a few months of use. I expect that to happen with this one as well, but hopefully it will take a little longer. I will update if this is the case for me. (I have replaced all emissions related components namely both O2 sensors, spark plugs, wire, coil, air filter, PCV, even cleaned the MAF sensor, checked and cleaned the injector flow and replaced the fuel filter and pump screen. Also I brought my thermostat with me an OEM made block - the head gaskets *might* leak a little *a little* but it's unlikely and the compression numbers are within spec).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Has issues
