So far, so good. for catalytic converters

Delivered quickly. The weld looks good. The mechanic said everything went fine. The car sounds like new. Fingers crossed, it's been like this for a while.

Was working on my Outback 2012!

My 2012 Outback made a loud Subaru noise when blowing on the header. Replaced it with this one and it works! Let's hope it lasts!

Pretty good for catalytic converters and aftermarket parts

Almost perfect fit. The pre-cat oxygen sensor bracket was welded about two inches closer than stock. I had to cut some metal from the heat shield to install it, but all went well in the end.

So far so good for catalytic converters

This replaced my leaking manifold and bad catalytic converter on a 2010 Subaru. It connected perfectly and seems to be working. The equipment that came with it is absolute junk. Be prepared to reuse existing studs and nuts, or prepare to go to the hardware store.

Great fit including all new gaskets and nuts

This worked great, fits great. I wasn't able to reuse the entire old heat shield so you'll need to find something else or just use half of it that can be moved. Also the new block smoked a bit when I restarted the car, it was with some factory oil but burned out after that which is great.

Excellent value for money - replacement parts

Fits like a glove. I uninstalled the old one and installed this one with no problems. Wanted to use the old heat shield on the new exhaust. This is where we encountered problems. The problem was rusty screws that had to be cut off. The heat shield fits nicely over the new exhaust. Replaced O2 sensors while we took everything apart. After driving over 50 miles, the car passed the emissions test. Would definitely buy again.

It fits perfectly and the car runs again

I had a clogged catalytic converter on my Outback 08 along with code P0420. It got worse when accelerating, to the point where it became dangerous to drive. This cat fits perfectly, the lights are off and the rear O2 sensor graph is a constant line at 0.7v instead of moving up and down. Acceleration is back to normal, it's still a slow car but I'm used to being even slower with a mean cat so this looks like a nice upgrade! Time will tell how long this cat lasts. I deducted a star for the poorโ€ฆ

Bought for my Subaru Impreza 06 after receiving code PO420. I replaced both O2 sensors and the code still hasn't gone away. I bought and installed this catalytic converter and I no longer get the code! I would like to exchange this first! When I removed the old converter, I cut it open and it had completely melted inside, restricting exhaust flow and triggering the code. This converter is perfect! It turned instantly! The only problem I had was that the original converter didn't have exactlyโ€ฆ

So far so good, but does it go on? I doubt it.

Like the others mentioned, this bolt fits reasonably well (though not perfectly), comes with cheap hardware (ie bolts are cheap, nuts are even cheaper), but will solve the O2 sensor code. I can already tell you that there is false advertising on the product page. The catalyst is NOT a metal substrate - it is ceramic. It also has some pretty thick welds in the intake ports, which can restrict exhaust flow a bit (though that's no big deal). You can grind them if you want, but it's probably notโ€ฆ
