So I ordered gummy bears that I had made for batches that tasted TERRIBLE like butter or bad plastic! So I checked the reviews and saw that many women had this problem (thank god it wasn't just my jelly that sucked), I tried washing it with vinegar, nothing helped. So I contacted Revain and they sent me another one before I even sent the old one to UPS! it was friday and monday i got my new one. So I washed it with Dawn and vinegar, took a bottle brush and cleaned the middle. I immediately made a small batch of peach jam. It was perfect! No weird taste! So now I love this thing! Just 25 minutes from start to finish! My advice: save the box and taste the jam before you seal it! And wash it really well before you start!
