I had some doubts when I read that the module and remote control need to be in "line of sight" to communicate, but I ordered anyway. I am very comfortable. It's easy to use, works well, is accurate and I've had no problems. The temperatures are updated quickly. The remote sometimes turns off / the display goes blank, but a quick press and it updates. I want the backlight to stay on / stay on longer. Once the temperature is reached, the alarm will be loud and noticeable. The sensors are easy to clean and overall it's a great addition to my setup, especially in a smoker so I don't have to constantly open the door to check the temperature of the meat.
