Originally I was planning to buy a Bluetooth thermometer to work on my cell phone. After reading some reviews of other thermometers, it seemed like many people are using their phone to steal data. This one meets my needs and I have no problem connecting anywhere in my house. And nobody steals my data.

This thing works great with my Traeger smoker. It has temperature indicators on both the grill and the remote control. Temperature alarms are very convenient and easy to set up. I wish I would like this device but the look of the front of the base is a little different. The display rectangle and the logo above it appear to be slightly rotated counter-clockwise. At the same time, however, the F/C button is one millimeter further from the bottom edge of the display, measured perpendicularly to this edge, than the power button. The previous thermometer only had 1 sensor and I found 2 sensors to be much more useful for grill/smoker temperature control. like meat. Especially important when smoking at low temperature - 275 doesn't cook the same as 325 degrees, but most built-in grill thermometers will be off by 50 degrees or more.
