This thing works great with my Traeger smoker. It has temperature indicators on both the grill and the remote control. Temperature alarms are very convenient and easy to set up. As mentioned on numerous posters, the dates appear to be accurate. The temperature gauges feel solid and are a good length. The remote control has an incredible range. Bought to replace a Bluetooth cell phone based device that cost twice as much, only showed the temperature on the phone and didn't work unless the phone was near the grill. This sucker allowed me to follow a smoker in my backyard while I was working in my front yard.
