This is a trap that always catches a little bit the way it is. You see, this closure is not vented. This way the air has nowhere to go, so only a little (1/4 cup) of water gets in at a time, or worse, you create excessive pressure in the intake manifold and you blow the overflow line. As for me, I'll probably put a hose connector on top of the can and route the hose to where the hose won't attract contaminants. This allows the cylinder to fill without excess pressure in the system. Because of this, and because the inlet pipe is at the bottom, it effectively acts as both an overflow tank and a return tank. The hose that comes with the kit is very thin so I won't be using it. I have a spare fuel line that I will use instead.
