The magnets let me down...but still a solid case.

Just got it... time for a review! I was excited to finally get my Zugu case. Especially since I had one for my 11 IPP in 2018. The case has held up well and it was silly to buy this version for my 2021 12.9" IPP. Packaging: Good packaging. The box had a few scuffs and dents. Nothing unusual. Everything inside was clean and undamaged. Free delivery House full 3-4 weeks early. VERY PRETTY. The case itself is very similar to previous models. Durable. Easy to hold. I have a feeling I can drop it and it will hold up well. Implementing IPP was very easy. Fits like a glove. Holes for speakers, ports and buttons are perfectly placed. The slot for my apple pencil is the same. It was easily fixed and charged once inserted into the slot. Small compartment on the back for storage when not in use or charging. My only concern is that i can no longer use my case for my apple pencil as it doesn't fit.not in the charging slot on top, not in the back of the case.the magnet test has passed disappointed me. I understand that 12.9 is heavier than 11, but I still expected the same installability when needed. It works... somehow. As you can see from the photos, you need to position the magnetic "back flap" up to secure it with magnets. If you just pull the cover from front to back and cover with a valve, it won't hold and will slide off the surface. I was able to slide the magnetic flap first, then close the front cover and it installed. You can also simply open the lid, let it hang down and mount it as shown in the photos. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase. 5 stars, hands down. It pays to protect your new IPP.
